Welcome to my blog! I’m Saisha and I’m an elementary school teacher in New York City. I have been teaching since 2015. I started teaching Pre-K then I taught kindergarten for 3 year and now I am teaching 3rd grade.
From as early as I can remember, I wanted to be a teacher. I would play school with my stuffed animals, I would recreate worksheets and study guides. I followed my passion and now enjoy going to work every day to teach amazing kids!
When you walk into my classroom, you will hear student to student discussion, you will see students thinking critically, engaged in center activities and small groups, and following classroom norms. I can’t wait to share resources with you that help me engage my students in this way!
